Happy New Year everyone!
Wow! It’s been a rough couple of weeks despite the holiday season and the start of a brand-new year. Unfortunately for me, I got hit with that horrible common cold bug that’s been wreaking havoc all over the U.S., and I still have that pesky residual cough.
Definitely not how I wanted to start the year, but now that I’m feeling a lot better, I wanted to share with you how to elevate your productivity with the help of our adorable friends!
- Planners & Calendars
- Planners are a MUST HAVE if you need to get your life on track.
- Keep track of your appointments, tasks, goals, milestones, celebrations & so much more with a Hello Kitty planner!
- From Erin Condren: Special Edition Hello Kitty Rainbow Relaxation LifePlanner ($63)
- One of the best planners I’ve ever used! Paper quality is thick and sturdy, layouts are customizable (vertical vs. horizontal), tabs are laminated, sticker sheets are adorable, and color story is cozy. It even includes a ruler – it’s basically a mini-life binder.
- Squishmallows 12-Month 2024 Planner ($18)
- Super cute, efficient, & AFFORDABLE! Not as fancy as the Erin Condren planner, but with its adorable Squishmallow designs on every page, unique color story, whimsical monthly themes, and sticker sheets, it will certainly win you over. It’s the one I’m currently using, and it meets my needs perfectly.

- So cute, accessible, and effective!

2. Journals & Notebooks
- Journaling is a great way to reflect, destress, and purge all the feelings (positive AND ESPECIALLY the negative) that would have otherwise kept you up at night if you bottled them up.
- My favorite notebooks are from Moleskine, and this hardcover, lined notebook ($32) featuring Hello Kitty in a candy hearts background is delightful!
- Like most Moleskine notebooks, this one is no different in terms of high-quality paper and accessories, featuring Hello Kitty stickers, a story card, and even a Hello Kitty bookmark!
- My favorite notebooks are from Moleskine, and this hardcover, lined notebook ($32) featuring Hello Kitty in a candy hearts background is delightful!

- Need affordable alternatives? Check these notebooks out from Hot Topic, BoxLunch, & F21 – here are my favorites:
3. Desk Organizers
- Keep your workspace tidy with desk organizers for pens, papers, and other office supplies. Check this Hello Kitty-inspired organizer out on Amazon:
- 3- Tier Desktop Storage Cabinets ($18.00)
- But, if you’re into official merch only, check out the Sanrio’s storage collection for bins, chests, and even mini lockers!
4. Hanging Wall Organizers
- If desk organizers aren’t your thing, opt for hanging wall organizers, like these canvas storage boxes ($25 – $44) featuring Hello Kitty, My Melody, and more friends! (Plus, you free up space on your desk!)

- Want to splurge? Get yourself this Hello Kitty Woven Bookcase at Pottery Barn ($249)! There’s always room for style in organization.

5. File folders & Organizers
- I know… I know… we’re in a digital era… who even knows how to work a printer these days? (I’m kidding – I have to work with a printer lol) But, you have to keep that paper somewhere safe, so keep your files organized and cute with these glossy Hello Kitty folders from Amazon ($10)!

6. Sticky notes & memo pads
- For those of us who need BRIGHT & BOLD reminders – don’t be afraid to pop these stickies onto your planners & calendars too!
- My favorites: Tokidoki x My Melody Sticky Notes ($7) & Hello Kitty Tropical Animal Sticky Notes ($4)
- Don’t want to lose your stickies? Check out these Hello Kitty memo & pen stands at Storage (sanrio.com).

For the full catalog of Hello Kitty & Friends stationery goodies, check out the official Sanrio site here: Stationery (sanrio.com)
Now, this item down here isn’t exactly on theme with this post, but it can certainly make your life at the desk a whole lot easier if you have a comfortable chair. Check this Hello Kitty desk chair out at Wayfair (for $346.99, it’s a splurge!)!

I wanted to keep this list short and provide a wide range of options – remember that you don’t need to have all of these things to have an organized and productive. Clutter is not your friend!
I’ll be the first to admit that most of these products are on my wish-list for some time in the future, but they would be nice to have, and I would certainly put them to good use if I had the space (and the money!).
And as I’ve said before in another post, if you can’t have the branded Sanrio item, buy a sheet of Hello Kitty stickers and brand the item yourself to YOUR liking. It adds a personalized charm to your belongings that is unique to you.
Hope you got some good ideas for starting off the New Year with a productive bang!
Happy New Year – let’s pray that the year ahead of us brings us nothing but good things!
